Autumn thankfulness – Day 8

Old books
I love old bookstores. The musty, pleasant scent of paper and old books that engulfs you when you enter. Running my fingertips along the rough fabric and dusty spines. Imagining what kinds of stories lie within. It’s romantic, lovely, and feels like home.

Oh my, yes. I was in a bookstore in St. Augustine last week and the aroma was just amazing–well-aged books with a hint of pepper (it’s scary that I can describe the scent of books better than I can describe wine, but here we are). I was REQUIRED to buy a book! My olfactory senses commanded it!
