As I’ve grown more confident, I feel less of a need to be social. The more I own myself, the more I understand that I’d always rather be by myself than with people I don’t click with.
So true! When I can spend quality time with people who energize me I feel less pressure to conform to society’s version of fun. It’s been quite freeing 🙂
