I can’t put my finger on it yet but yesterday our Dry Season kicked in and this morning I could hear the difference. I’ve lived here for 37 years and never noticed it before.

The wind and the rain … I am a water person who loves the lake and the ocean. Waves are great. But there is something purifying, calming, and wonderful in hearing the weather. It is as if the earth has bad days, cries, gets angry, and mourns as well. It’s humbling.
I love the ocean as well. Whether I’m sitting along the shore, watching the waves wash over the rocks, or watching a stormy ocean from inside, there’s great power in the elements 🙂

When I’m on travel, the best sound in the world is, “Flight for Orlando, now boarding.” 🙂 Otherwise, the ocean will do in a pinch.
