In America the extroverted, relationships are good, and even if they are very bad, they are better than no relationship. Introverts don’t think this way. Many of us want and have great relationships, but we generally prefer no relationship to a bad one. Quality matters. We conserve our relationship resources, because we know they are limited.

Quality over quantity. I don’t need a lot of friends and a busy social life. Give me one or two good friends, the occasional party or get-together, the usual work-week, and a lot of downtime in-between those things…I’m happy! I feel fulfilled without feeling overwhelmed.

So true! I’ll always choose a quiet gathering every once in a while to being busy every night 🙂
